Sweet! What’s up, gang??? Long time no anything, eh? First thing: the radio show is off until I reset up my studio. I got big ideas so hopefully I can get on that (if MGS4 would please stop eating up my time, thank you!). Secondly after I got my camera I was pretty sure I’d be posting pics like every day, but instead that just didn’t happen. Well maybe I’ll start, hopefully since I like pictures and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter if you do. Thirdly, today I signed up for a twitter account! Twitter is like a micro-updated blog. I can update it from AIM, the Internets, or by txt! I’ve set it up so that at the end of each day all of my twitters will be posted in one blog post. You can check out all my updates at my twitter account here: https://twitter.com/bm4n or wait for the compilation at the end of the day! Well I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything, maybe when I get some time I’ll talk about Coachella this year with my sisters, or Lollapalooza, or Katy Perry, or my awesome cousins/cousins-in-law the Blakes. Anyway, I should get back to the work I’m not doing.
Peace

Hey! Gang!
I know for a fact I personally contacted about fifty people for the live show tonight! We had a peak of five listeners…I’m gonna call that a success but we want more listeners in the future! It’s so easy! Just come here and click on Radio Braxton LIVE! Above! Or go to http://radio.eternalnoob.net. Any ways the show was, as advertised, from about 8PM eastern until 9:30 or so. We had two special guest DJs, and one possible permanent DJ, but you’ll have to listen to find out who
We talked, we laughed, we cried, we played music…It was a good time.
If you’re feeling pretty bad now about missing the FIRST Live broadcast don’t feel TOO bad, it will be up for download in a few short minutes. And I will give everybody more notice in the future via this blog about the next show; plan on Monday at 8PM Eastern time with possible air times Sunday and Monday afternoon for the HostRocket audience. So just keep hitting F5 and soon there will be a download link below.
Thanks for everyone that made my first broadcast a sweet success!

OK, gang,

I know most of you haven’t even read about my recent successes in the area of internet radio streaming, so go ahead and scroll down and read that now…
I am hereby announcing the start of my daily radio show at 6PM Mountain time, 8AM Eastern. The first show will be tomorrow night, with special guest and my best friend, Micah S. We will shoot the crap and play music and pretty much just play it by ear. I don’t think we’ll be able to take calls but you will be able to IM me at dogwithshifyis using AIM to contact the show or email using my email address braxton [at] ilovebraxton [dot] com
And just so you know I am currently broadcasting 24/7 audio. Whatever I happen to be listening to, watching, playing, etc. you will be hearing to as long as you are tuned in here.
Stay in touch
Braxton
PS - I’d recommend using Winamp or iTunes to listen to the stream, Windows Media Player doesn’t seem to work properly.
Whats up, gang!?
I just got my foot screwed so I’ve been stuck at home all day on pain killers, yay! I spent my time getting icecast to work! That’s a audio stream broadcasting tool…I’m live! Through a mixer, receiver, eq, 2 laptops, and a plethora of software I can come to anybody who downloads my playlist file which can be found here, you can also download the file directly here. So just click there and HEAR me! It will probably be silent unless I’m playing music. Which will be most of the time. BUT, if you CALL me via SKYPE YOU’LL BE ONLINE TOO! All convos through SKYPE will be broadcast. Maybe I’ll have like weekly shows or something. I don’t know. But, if it IS planned I will record it also. So get SKYPE! Get calling! My Skype name will be BraxtronAdvance. You can tune in now just to see what I’m listening to. Plus, maybe I’ll leave my mic on and you can hear me breathing. Creepy.

PS - if you call you may be able to see me as well through my webcam ![]()
PPS - I think when I go to bed I will just have this crap play audio files at random from my collection. Comments welcome!!
PPPS - I just want to make sure you understand that I can only be live when I’m at my PC and therefore not at work. Also I need calls or something. Or comment when a good time for an hour show would be and I’ll start doing it within the next few days on a daily basis. Yahoo!
So not many people no this but I’ve always had bm4n.com registered and pointing to this site. Well its not any more. After I decided to register the BEST email address ever (braxton[at]ilovebraxton[dot]com) I decided to unique-ify my domains and, in the process, give this site some much needed direction…I’m still working on bm4n.com and ilovebraxton.com but here’s how everything will break down: eternalnoob.net is going to become a site for general news topics about mainly video games, electronics, and music, ilovebraxton.com is going to be where I post things of a more artistic nature such as essays, rambling thoughts, poetry, songs, drawings, etc, and bm4n.com will become my personal site where I will post things about how much crap I haven’t done/will (not) do. So while the sites are live they are a little empty at the moment and you should notice a steady decline in non-news related topics here in the near future.
Any tips, comments, questions, or requests about how this will all play out are, as always, greatly appreciated so let me know what you think! Also, I’ll work on having all three domains pull users from the same database so any one already registered won’t have to do so again…In fact, it would be really cool if all of the posts came from the same database and each had a value that signified it only show up on one of the sites…The odds of that happening are slim to none and the users of the site won’t notice the difference anyway so just pretend like I have a back-end that cool and you’ll be good. Mmmm…That’s all, good night.

Last night, after seeing a movie, waiting for the midnight release of Harry Potter, and passing out in Saratoga for a bit I headed over to Round Lake where Amelia and her friend Rachel Kessler were…four hours later I had Dreads! There gonna take a bit to get all sexy and hot like but they are off to a great start, if I do say so myself…And I do. I like them, but I’m sure that goes without saying. Anyways here’s some pics:

Hello, loyal readers! This post is coming to you live from the Coachella campgrounds! I just got back from day 1 and it is about 3am. After the whole show I will probably post more with better descriptions, pictures, videos, and audio samples but this is just a quick update.
For all those who haven’t gathered from my last couple posts, I am in California right now for a music festival called Coachella! I met some people through the Coachella carpool forums and we drove down to Vegas where we stayed Thursday night. We walked around the strip, I went to an oxygen bar, we rode a roller coaster. Good times were had by all. Today we left at 8am and got to Coachella and set up all our crap. Then began the festival.
I didn’t really know what to expect but the day ended up being absolutely incredible. Apparently when I’m really enjoying myself I look not only high, but also packing of excess drugs because I got asked for drugs (weed or pills) no less than 5 times today. On account of I’m wicked tired and have a huge day tomorrow I will just list the bands I saw with a short description, here they are in order of the time I saw them:
Comedians of Comedy (20 min) - Wicked funny. Surprised to see how dirty “Spence” from King of Queens was stand up. Great way to start the day.
Tokyo Police Club (50 min, whole set) - Pleasantly surprised. Very cool band with a strokes sound, plus their Canadian!
Of Montreal (50 min, whole set) - They were every bit as ridiculous and over-the-top as I had hoped. Great sound and complete freaks on stage. Once I get some pics up you’ll understand.
Arctic Monkeys (45 mins, almost whole set) - At first I was unimpressed but all of their songs were solid and they had a couple tracks I really liked. Over all it was a great show, and even cooler because the sun set right behind them while they played.
Peaches (15 mins) - She was even dirtier than I remembered! This is some X-rated stuff (don’t worry, not visually). I left after she started climbing the scaffolding in her underwear, only because I was expecting a dance act. Still a fun show.
Felix Da House Cat (20 mins) - I left Peaches early to head to the dance tent to get a good spot for Benny Benassi and Felix was spinning. All I can say is WOW. He was awesome, probably better than Benny. I really started to lose myself and go nuts during his set. I met another guy in there who was sober (different reasons) but still danced like he was trippin’ balls. He was really an inspiration to me and I had a killer time the rest of the time I spent in the dance tent tonight.
Benny Benassi (1 hour, full set) - I knew his music before hand and expected him to just spin it so we could dance. He did some awesome things live, mixing all his tracks/samples together right there which was really neat to watch (he also had a tight light show). One thing I didn’t like is that he kept taking our (dancer’s) bass away. And then he’d laugh and give it back eventually. It is a great way to get the attention of the partyers and can get them pumped some times but he was just teasing us which seemed to detract in the end. Awesome show nonetheless.
Faithless (35 mins) - I wanted to go straight to Sonic Youth after Benny’s set but I couldn’t just stop dancing…Faithless came on and blew my mind. It was electronic music that was being performed live by instruments (drums, guitars, keyboard, synth) and they even had a singer. Absolutely incredible set…The worst part was dragging myself away to see Sonic youth (even though they rock).
Sonic Youth (10 mins) - One of the reasons I really wanted to see Sonic Youth is because Kurt cited them as a huge influence on Nirvana. I did get there late and maybe I regret it but the 3 or so songs I heard were freaking awesome. I think I’ll probably start listening to them more once I get back home.
Bjork (1.5 hours) - WOW. It’s BJORK! I really don’t know what else to say, she was incredible. She came out playing the song I’ve heard off her new album called Earth Intruders (maybe you’ve heard of it, the video is about 2 posts down). Eventually she played another one I knew called All is Love which was great. Every thing in between was great. I was trying to think of my favorite track when she came on for an encore and played the greatest song. Part awesome, Part icelandic, part dance it was an awesome, awesome way to end her set.
DJ Shadow (20 mins) - Since he was playing during Bjork I had decided to skip him and see him on Monday when I get back to Salt Lake City. Lucky for me his stage had been set back 20 minutes earlier in the day. He was playing one of my favorite songs when I first got there and then had a fresh track that was great to dance to (this was outdoor by the way, very cool). He finished with another awesome song but then halfway through was informed he had to close the night. He said “Aight well these F-ers want me to close it down and stuff so I’m just gonna let the F-in music run until they turn it off.” He proceeded to drop a phat record on and walk off the stage — pure class.
Overall I’d say tonight I had my mind blown and tomorrow looks like it will happen again. I should be gettin’ to bed soon but I think I might go look for that guy I met in the dance tent as I don’t have a sleeping pad/tent anyways. Well hopefully I won’t be too dead tomorrow to post this same sort of thing. I guess I ended up writing way too much for this — heh.
Peace
Braxton
